Role Based Access Control

An approach for granting access to shared resources such as contracts that is based on the notion that all access is forbidden unless specifically allowed.

This is achieved by granting access to various system functions or levels of capability within those functions.

It can also be achieved by documenting categories or levels of security clearance applied to those documents.

Using RBAC in Gatekeeper allows businesses to assign appropriate roles and permissions to someone based on established reasoning.

It also ensures that only those with sufficient privileges have the ability to access/alter records within a system, protecting data integrity.
